Dingding, an educated urban woman, had shared five years of marriage with her husband, yet they had not been able to welcome the child they longed for. As the only son in his family, her husband carried the heavy responsibility of continuing the family lineage. Meanwhile, Dingding was acutely aware of the pressure of approaching the age considered high-risk for pregnancy. Despite consulting numerous experts and trying both traditional Chinese and Western medicine, they were unable to identify the root cause of their infertility, let alone achieve their dream of becoming parents.

Their desire for a child never diminished. The couple had initially planned to have a baby before turning 30. However, as time slipped away, they extended their goal to 35, understanding that after this age, a womans fertility decreases significantly, with ovarian function declining and pregnancy rates dropping. Studies indicate that over 90% of eggs in women above 40 exhibit chromosomal abnormalities, with a monthly conception rate of merely 5%. After 45, the likelihood of natural pregnancy becomes exceedingly slim.

Upon a friends recommendation, Dingding sought out Dr. Nathan Zhang at IVF USA. Dr. Zhangs professional analysis and recommendations made Dingding realize that time was no longer on her side. Although IVF does not guarantee success, its success rates are higher for younger women. Determined to pursue her dream of motherhood, Dingding decided to begin her IVF journey.

The path to IVF was far from easy. Injections, medications, and ovarian stimulation treatments began to take a toll on her body. Dingding experienced weight gain and emotional stress, yet she remained undeterred. She firmly believed that every hardship was worth it for the sake of her future baby.

Under the meticulous care of Dr. Zhang and the IVF USA team, Dingding successfully obtained five embryos. After PGS testing, three of these embryos were graded as A-quality. Following the transfer of one embryo, the other two were cryopreserved for future use. During the seven days of waiting for the embryo to implant, Dingdings emotions were like a rollercoaster, but she stayed resilient and optimistic.

Finally, the long-awaited news arrivedthe embryo had successfully implanted! Dingdings IVF journey had reached a crucial milestone. Now six months pregnant and past the challenging phase of morning sickness, she and her husband eagerly anticipate the arrival of their baby.
